Almost Patio Season | Spring News

As they say about March — in like a lion, out like a… fluffy white lion? This SLC brewery has a lot to be excited about and share this spring, including the launch of our new brewing collaboration series, Zoigl, our online shop, and some spring brewery events.

Introducing our Zoigl Collab Series

We believe beer is about community, whether gathering over a beer or working together to brew it. With that in mind, we’re excited to introduce our Zoigl collaboration series. Zoigl translates to a style of lager and an old-world way to think of collaboration. In old Europe, villages would come together with their own ingredients to craft beer together, called a Zoigl. We love the chance to learn from our peers and build community across the industry.

First up, is our West Coast Pilsner brewed in collaboration with OMF of Denver. This 6.7% beer is all-day crushable, made with Troubadour Maltings malts from OMF’s home state of Colorado. You’ll find a light and sweet, almost cracker, malt profile, with guava and marijuana aromatics.

Coconut Guava is Back

Well — the calendar says it’s spring, but the snow storms sure don’t. We tried to bring a little sunshine to your gray days with the return of our Great American Beer Festival gold-medal-winning Coconut Guava Berliner Weisse. Packed with tropical flavors, juicy, tart, and slightly acidic, this 4.2% bier is like a beach vacation in a can.

When the days warm up and blue skies return to SLC, be sure to enjoy a beer on our patio. Our fire pits are blazing, and the patio gets sun all day. We love to see your pups; just be sure to check in with our staff at the front door for the canine rules.

We’re Going to Lagerville

Lagerville, in Buellton, CA on April 15th, will feature lagers from 55+ breweries. We’ll be competing for best individual beer and brewery, but we’re also really looking forward to meeting new friends in the industry and seeing what our peers are brewing up.

Just in time for Mother’s Day — join Apiana Blooms, Thursday, May 11, 6:30-8:00 PM, for a workshop to create beautiful, fresh, floral arrangements while sipping TF brews. During this class, we will invite the coming season by highlighting some of spring’s most beautiful blooms, exploring color, texture, and fragrance with hyacinth, tulips, and hellebores. Each participant will take home their own beautifully designed arrangement in a hand-selected vessel. A ticket includes a 90-minute guided workshop, fresh flowers for each design, vessels, all of the supplies and tools needed, and one beer.
