TF Brewing is partnering with Salt Lake County Animal Services who is the largest NO KILL municipal shelter in Utah, to highlight pets that are looking for their forever homes. They serve the citizens of Bluffdale, Holladay, Midvale, Millcreek, Murray, Salt Lake City and the Salt Lake County Metro Townships. Their services include: animal control, adoptions, pet licensing/microchipping, humane education, foster & volunteer opportunities, and more.
Salt Lake County Animal Services is dedicated to providing superior support, education, protection, and advocacy for all animals and members of the community. Check out the below pets of the week if you’re interested in adoption!
PLEASE READRocko was found by a kind Samaritan wandering disconsolately around a park on a gloomy day in February. Rocko was hopeful that his family would come and pick him up but sadly, the days have turned into weeks and still no one has come to claim him. Like most animals at our shelter, we don’t know much about his history but we do know that he has had multiple owners over the years. Rocko’s dream is to have just one more family open their hearts and homes to him for his best years and get him out of the stressful shelter environment.
Rocko is a handsome pitty with beautiful brown spots all along his body. We especially love his big, wide, jowly smile with his tongue dangling out. His soulful brown eyes are just begging anyone who walks by his kennel to take him home. He is a favorite among our volunteers who love to tell him what a good boy he is. A Hounds Around Town volunteer took him on a hike and raved about him, “Rocko is affectionate and confident, he walked over the very wobbly bridge without any hesitation and seems very drawn to humans in general. He knows sit, shake and down, might be house trained and he’s adorable with his perfectly color coordinated beautiful brown eyes and matching cow spots. Rocko is a volunteer favorite for good reason, go meet him, he’s a catch!”

Meet Cripta, a 5-year-old lovebug looking for her forever home! This sweet and gentle girl is a complete submissive and loves nothing more than snuggling up with her humans under a cozy minky blanket.
Cripta is a smart girl who has already mastered the art of using a dog door. She also gets along great with other dogs and would benefit from having a furry friend in her new home.
While Cripta is incredibly sweet and affectionate, she can be a bit shy and will need a patient owner who can give her the time and space she needs to warm up to new situations. With a little patience and lots of love, Cripta will make an amazing companion for the right person or family.

Adoptions are first come first serve at Salt Lake County Animal Services. We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 AM – 6 PM.
