They serve the citizens of Bluffdale, Holladay, Midvale, Millcreek, Murray, Salt Lake City and the Salt Lake County Metro Townships. Their services include: animal control, adoptions, pet licensing/microchipping, humane education, foster & volunteer opportunities, and more.
Salt Lake County Animal Services is dedicated to providing superior support, education, protection, and advocacy for all animals and members of the community. Check out the below pets of the week if you’re interested in adoption!

Hi there! I’m Poe – like the poet, but with more zoomies and fewer gloomy poems (unless you count whining for snacks). I’m a 2-year-old boy with a heart full of wiggles and a tail that just won’t quit. I might come off a little reserved at first (I like to keep my mystery), but once I get comfy, I’m all about bouncy cuddles, tennis ball shenanigans, and being your little shadow. I’m easy to leash up and polite on walks. I’d thrive in a calm, patient home that’ll let me blossom into the sweet, energetic lovebug I’m meant to be. If you’re into sensitive souls with a splash of silly, we might just be poe-fect for each other!
