Holiday Brewery Events and Dark Beer Season
It’s Dark Beer Season
Thanksgiving Beer Release – Jesse Delmar
It’s dark beer season. Our Jesse Delmar Barrel Aged Imperial Stout is back, this time dressed up in two new variants. Fresh off a YEAR aging in High West whiskey barrels and just in time for the holidays. Big and boozy with a robust profile. You can practically feel the campfire while sipping the S’mores variant, with notes of chocolate, marshmallow, and graham cracker. Like a macaroon, notes of caramel and coconut balance in the Caramel Coconut variant. These limited edition 12% cans will go fast.
Beers Releasing in December
- Happy Hollahaze! You asked… we will deliver. This favorite juicy IPA is coming back soon.
- Low Earth Orbit – West Coast Lager blasts off in collaboration with Fice. A percentage of proceeds will benefit memberships to the Planetary Academy, a division of the Planetary Society that sends adventure science packs to kids ages 5-9.
Stay tuned for some more great brews coming out closer to the holidays!
High West Barrel Select
Hey, whiskey aficionados! Did you know that we have one of the rarest selections of High West whiskey outside of High West? Our list includes two whiskeys exclusive to TF, Rendezvous Rye and American Prairie, and an Act 1/Scene 1 bottle of A Midwinter Night Dram (The Encore). Available exclusively in our taproom.
Our whiskey tasting with High West Master Distiller, Brendan Coyle, and Blending and Distilling Manager, Isaac Winter sold out in under 24 hours – thank you all for your support! We had a phenomenal night, and can’t wait to do more events like this soon.
Christmas Market Preview
Save the date for our Christkindlmarkt December 17th and 18th. We wouldn’t normally advocate for last-minute Christmas shopping… but our super-talented local vendors will be selling gifts worth waiting for. Shop while sipping on some Gluhwein or one of our award-winning beers. We have too many awesome local vendors coming to list… so you’ll have to come check it out!
Beer Can Artist Highlight: Lexi Dowdall
Hopefully, you noticed the amazing watercolor art by local artist, Lexi Dowdall, on our Bauernhaus Foeder-aged Pilsner and Estate Comet cans. You can see more of Lexi’s art at our Christmas Market 12/17-18, on two more beers coming out soon, and on her website.
Lexi is a local watercolor artist, a Little Cottonwood Canyon native, and an all-around creative badass. A 5th generation Utahn, Lexi is rooted in this landscape. She learned to paint and draw from her grandmother and rekindled her creativity with a watercolor set on a Gates of Lodore river trip. A project to make art for 100 days through COVID eventually led Lexi to professional artistry. Lexi is a skier, a traveler, a reader, a cat person, and much, much more. Check out her paint by powder project on her Instagram, a journey to paint all 15 Utah ski resorts with each resort’s snowmelt.
